  Purple Iris on Canvas with Easel

 

The word "iris" in Greek means rainbow and this is very fitting for this flower as it comes in over 200 colors and is found all around the world!  The Iris is a flower with many meanings, but most involve Trust, Faith, Hope and Wisdom.

 

The beautiful purple iris here has a yellow center and is made with a combination of rolling and husking techiniques.  It is mounted on a (real) canvas with a white semi-gloss background and can be purchased alone, or with the easel as shown below.

Purple Passion

Yellow Roses

 

Yellow roses are often thought to represent friendship, joy, happiness, a start at something new.  Traditionally, they are sent to new mothers, graduates and bridal couples, as well as to friends returning from a long journey or starting a new job.

 

These beautiful paper roses are three to a grouping and are set in a glass vase, with orange-and-yellow-mixed sand hardened to keep the flowers sturdy.
